I think it's a good idea, but I don't think I'd join. Horror movies scare me too much.

I like real horror movies not these dumb new ones like saw and paranormal activity. They are so lame and not scary. New movies just go for gore porn or ohhh loud noises. Eff that, The thing, An American werewolf in London, The fly, Alien, etc now those are good horror movies. The last good FRANCHISE was Scream, and that isn't saying much because that was 10 years ago. Movies make me sad now.

I think this is a great idea. I love horror movies as well, but I never have computer access when clubs meet so I wouldn't be able to join. I'm one of the few here that has access to the computer in the mornings and not after 4:00pm CST during the week or after 10:30am CST on the weekends.

I like real horror films, but not slasher movies. I like everything from The Haunting (the 1963 version, based on Shirley Jackson's book) to Seven to The Exorcist to classic Hitchcock, but not movies about teenagers getting torn apart by masked killers or torture films like Saw, I just can't watch those.
It's hard for me to get to stuff in the evening at all. Most of the clubs are not going to work for me, because I'm with My Man in the evenings and the Man needs Service!
So, while a real horror club might be cool (especially if you included horror novels. I'm a huge Stephen King fan.) I most likely wouldn't be able to attend.

I LOVE horror films! They're usually all that I watch/download. And I have yet to watch one that actually scared me. Okay, I'll admit that some scenes from Lake Mungo freaked me the eff out... but that's probably it.

I love horror movies, though I tend to find myself annoyed with the sort of ditzy teenagers in some of them for making rather obvious mistakes that any reasonable person would avoid.
It's like " Hey guys, look at this dark, ominous tunnel that everyone says is evil....lets go make out in there!"....=_=;
