What does the average (not super duper matinee time) movie ticket cost you now? I am curious if there is a huge difference between what we all find where we live. Here, in general, it's $8.50 a pop. We spend more on basic concessions then tickets, since now a small drink (mostly ice) costs $4.50.
On average, what do you pay for movie theater tickets now, where you live?

There are three prices at our theater depending on how you see a movie. $8.00 for 2D, $9.50 for 3D, and $14.00 for IMAX/Xtreme 3D.
There’s also a theater that opened recently that serves food and alcohol during the movie. A literal dinner and a movie. Those tickets start and $ and go up to $18 depending one how good the seating is. - C

About $9 or so for a normal movie. We don't buy concessions anymore.

Zero dollars. Average cost is $10.50 without snacks and I refuse to pay that much for something I can see in a few months for free.

I honestly have no idea. I haven't been to avoid in over ten years! Lol

The admission price for the movies is about $11 or $12, and small drink and popcorn is another $8 or $9.

I did pay 11 the other day. But that was on the other side of town.
I prefer seeing movies at the theater closer to my house where I can see them for $5 bucks on Five Dollar Tuesday.
