So while listening to the radio this morning, Drex played a parody of Miley Cyrus' Party in the USA called Farting in the USA and it got me thinking about some of my favorite song parodies.

Currently my two favorite are both Lady GaGa originals, one being Telephone and the other being a parody of Bad Romance called Shit My Pants. I watched Morgan McMichaels perform Shit My Pants at a gay bar near where I live, and it was awesome.

I'd love to see/hear some of yours!

This post made me laugh, my neighbor and I were just talking about Weird Al. We haven't seen or heard anything for some time.

Now I *have* to listen to it right now.

Also, some of you may have heard of a little duo called Adam & Andrew... famous for their "Emo Kid" song. Now, they can't sing for crap, but they have a hilarious parody of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl"..... which I can't seem to find...

I love Weird Al's parodies. His parody of Michael Jacksons's Bad (Fat for Al) is hilarious. Allan Sherman was a great parodist in his day. I grew up listening and loving (and singing) his parodies.

Haven't been able to find out who does it. My ex-husband found it online back in 2002/3 and burned it to disk for me.

I also find "Jersey Girl" to be hilarious - parody of Aqua's "Barbie Girl". Also don't know who did it.

I usually love the KeyOfAwesome parodies, but so far the three I like best by them are their version of "Judas" by Lady GaGa, a "jersy shore song parody", and "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele. xD

I can't remember the artist but in Australia about a decade ago a guy put out a parody of Meredith Brook's "Bitch". It was called Bloke and was all about stereotypical Australian guys. Absolutely hilarious.
