I really like that one too! John Waters is great and he is really really funny too! Victoria had this DVD of him talking to a college or something, and it was like really good, really smart stand-up.

I think I might have seen that one too. It sounds so familiar. My husband gets stuff like that off Netflix all the time.

Really? I don't really care for that one and I LOVE classic films.

As for cult movies, I don't think I have a favorite unless you count everything made in the '80s by John Hughes. Now, as for cult tv, I adore Star Trek: The Original Series as well as The Twilight Zone.

I kinda like some old peter fonda movies like "Race with the Devil" and such

CLerks, and Dogma rock too.

Oh and a new favorite:

Wristcutters : A Love Story

Loved it, it was weird but was amazingly good. Creeps me out a little.

Really glad to see that someone else enjoyed it

I can't get the song by Gogo Bardello out of my head any more "Through the Roof N' Underground"

"When there's a trap set up for you
In every corner of this town
And so you learn the only way to go is underground
When there's a trap set up for you
In every corner of your room
And so you learn the only way to go is through the roof"

I just watched 'My Name is Bruce' again this weekend, anyone else a fan of this movie. Also, did anyone mention 'Bubba Ho-Tep'?

I love Gogol.

Anyone else a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan? I'm all about anything Buffy.

I also really like Hedwig, Evil Dead and Donnie Darko. The Big Lebowski.

Wristcutters was so surreal, it was like a dream, they really pulled it off well.

The actors were great in it also

For all of you fans of Evil Dead, have you see Evil Dead: The Musical?! I went to see it back in March--AWESOME! I guess it's playing somewhere near me this month too, if I can get a babysitter I want to go!

Hedwig is awesome though!
Agreed. My close friends are OBSESSED. They got tattoos, they started a documentary about it, got into the premieres, flew to freaking Utah to hang out with one of the stars for a week, but I just can't. see. the greatness. At least not the greatness that they see. I even liked Repo Men more. :[ Wish I could see it, but I'll just stick with Donnie, Rocky, and Labyrinth. Oh and Star Wars. Don't even try to tell me that's not a cult classic!

And I love Heathers.
Heathers (and Trainspotting, and I Spit, which they're crazily remaking -- probably shittily) is super great, but I'm not sure it counts as a cult classic. Very popular with hipsters, though.

Original Star Wars (aka Greedo DIDN'T shoot AT ALL) is the classic.

And Labyrinth = The film that started millions of girls to puberty via David Bowie's tight trousers that hid NOTHING ...

I don't think Star Wars is a cult classic...look at all the merchandising.

They're re-releasing in 2 years with...get this...3D!

"The Walking Dead" better be a cult classic show. The books def. are!
