I personally think those shows are too scripted (or at least they seem like it)
Do you like the bachelor reality type shows?

I'd consider watching such shows if the contestants had sex. On camera. ;-)

To me watching those shows seems very similar to ancient Romans watching gladiators kill each other in the Colosseum. It seems the real enjoyment comes from watching other humans suffer and a feeling superiority.

Folks on them say they are SO edited that even they don't recognize what "really" happened.

The way they're edited gets to me and besides, I have a hard time respecting the contestants who fight one another over a guy or girl they just met. It makes love seem so simple, but there's no way every one of those folks could be head over heels for one single person at random that way.

Reality TV needs to die a horrible, painful death. It's killing good dramas and sitcoms.

i saw the 1st season of the bacheloret, & that was it. i really don't like those shows. but they are still together & apparently have a kid now.

I enjoy them as a guilty pleasure, but can only watch them if I'm doing something else at the same time. It just too much of the same thing over and over.

I really dislike TV shows in general! X3

I think they are utter crap. But hilarious in a "you people are really sad" kind of way.

Does "to catch a predator" count? lol Yes I watch them
08/07/2011
I loathe reality shows.

The only reality type TV show that I like is Jerry Springer and Maury. They are just too funny and idiotic for me to give up!

Absolutely not and never will

I don't watch any Reality TV shows that don't involve cooking. lol.

Reality shows that involve dating or lots of drama (Real World, etc) I don't watch. I agree that they seem really scripted and edited just to make things seem absolutely horrible and the last one of these I watched where there was a huge deal made because one guy tried to throw a punch at another guy that wouldn't have happened at all if they hadn't been drinking excessively from the huge stock of alcohol the show had provided for all of them. I love reality shows like Pawn Stars, but shows that focus solely on creating drama I just can't get into.

They are almost always very cheesy and unreal. Plus, the producers or writers or whoever seem to favor plot twists that create loads of angst and hurt and end up making me think that every contestant/actor/actre ss is an unlikable person.
Seeing unlikable people competing for the affection of other unlikable people is boring as hell.

Eh..couldn't get in to that one. I can't relate to falling head over heels for ten different dudes at the same time and then crying about how hard it is, 'but I love them all so much!'

I agree mostly.. except I do like the reality show "Intervention" .. I am not sure if that is a show that is considered high drama though

I'd consider that to be on a completely different level than shows like The Bachelor to be honest. The whole point of Bachelor type shows is the drama, and Intervention to me is a way to try and help people with addictions. Granted it doesn't always work, but it's worth a shot.

Oops, voted no...I've never watched these shows. Most reality TV revolts me, though I do have a few guilty favorites...Hoarders, Addicted, Intervention, Supernanny, and of course DWTS (which I'm ready to pee myself over because of the new season which includes Chaz Bono!).
