I wish I could get into sci-fi, but I always end up closing a book or not watching a movie because it's just not my thing. I've tried though! LOL. I'm more of a thriller, suspense, mystery kind of girl. But time travel, I must admit, is always awesome. And interesting! So that's one thing I can get into. A book I read recently actually had that in it! So I guess I'm not too anti-sci-fi after all! It was called The River by... Something Kay Tardiff and I highly, highly, highly, highly, highly recommend it! Highly! It was free on Amazon just a week ago. Might still be, if you're a book lover! It was truly a wonderful book. Even caused me to go out and look for other books by that author, and read them!

TYPICALLY I'm not a sci-fi fan, however, I am absolutely addicted to Doctor Who. I'll occasionally watch a movie on the Sci-fi channel but I'm more into horror than sci-fi, so it's rare that I find something I genuinely like.

I love Doctor who, but I love space epics even more, Star Trek, Star wars, really I like good old fashioned battles in space.

I really like sci-fi that deals with developing alien races and their societies.

The more space operatic, the better. I like works like the original Star Wars trilogy and the 2004 Battlestar Galactica, which start out small but progressively grow and flesh out this big universe and epic conflict.

Me too!!!

Favourite episodes of sci-fi are the time travel ones, or the "ground hog day" ones. OH! Any show that has a real eccentric character like Doctor Who or Q I cannot wait to watch.
