Ok, Freddie Mercury has always been one of my favorite performers and my thoughts while watching his Google Doodle were "see, I told you he was a super hero!" lol.

I wasn't sure if I could copy and paste it like a GIF, but I got lucky and thecelebritycafe had a little article about it, along with the video, which is what I really wanted to share. Fans of Mercury and Queen should enjoy this little video, and happy birthday to Freddie Mercury, who would have been 65 yesterday!

I watched it and I LOVED it! I teared up a little. I'm a humongous Queen fan and "Don't Stop Me Now" is one of my favorites. I thought it was a beautiful tribute to him. If you read the MSNBC article about it, you'll find that the team that made it worked on it for 3 months! My applause to Google!

Very cool! I have turned my two little metal heads on to Queen and we've been listening to Bohemian Rhapsody a lot lately. Great post! Thanks!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a rather pleasant surprise when my friend texted me to tell me to go to Google. I'm very happy that I did.

Freddie was a HUGE influence on me as was Queen. They are my all-time favorite band and, in my opinion, Freddie is the best frontman to have ever lived. Kudos to Google for creating that tribute to my personal idol.

I'm absolutely appalled that I missed this! I saw the doodle thing, but didn't realise it had a play button on it. I quite liked the video; felt it was really fitting.
