Ok, I've sat through two episodes of "Girls" on HBO and to be honest, I actually am wondering if I am missing something.

So I am asking you all, have you watched it? What do you think of it?

I mean, for me, most things I've seen on HBO have been somewhat entertaining and interesting and this show just makes me yawn and in my head I end up practicing Chinese.

I haven't seen it, but I know about the creator. And everything I have heard about it makes it sound incredibly boring and annoying.

I have found it very dry with no bits of humour in it at all. When they try to be funny, it comes across as just "wrong".

It is one of those rare shows that I will be deleting and not saving to the hard drives because it is that poor a show.

I am also wondering what happened to the great shows that HBO used to have out there?

I've been told the characters were great but the show was unbelievably white-washed for its location. Ie, only white characters and apparently in NY.

Quite honestly, I've never even heard of this show, I just like girls. However, hbo typically has good programming so I wouldn't knock it.
