I kind of hated Harry and Ginny and thought Hermione and Harry might be better.

Haha I didn't understand Harry and Ginny she was nonexistent except being a little obsessive girl up until book five and then she was okay and then book six BAM crush time lovey time and it kind of made me gag

Hmm...well this is very much a fanon ship, but...I always sort of liked the pairing of Luna and Harry! They both had moments where people didn't understand them and treated them differently, and there were several scenes where Luna gave Harry advice that seemed to help him more than what anyone else could say (especially after Sirius died). I don't know, it would have been nice to have a sort of atypical pairing. And I also really didn't feel Harry/Ginny at all...it didn't make sense to me.
