They were pretty well-done--I'm always happy to see Del Toro and Perlman work together. I prefer Mignola's original comics, but the movies do a fine job capturing their source material's spirit.

I adore Hellboy, both movies and comics. The movies were cheesy as hell but I still loved them, mainly because we got to see Abe as an actual functioning creature.

I think once I pretended like I slept through a Hellboy movie because I told my parents I was going to see it with my then-boyfriend we ended up doing something else.

I love Ron, so I DID like it for that reason...and it was fun.
