Not sure if the trailer just launched or I just found it, but the trailer for The Hobbit can be found here.

Anyone else excited? I've been waiting for this film since the credits of Return of the King, so I'm totally ecstatic that it's finally almost here. Well, December of next year. So kinda almost here. Hooray!

i love the hobbit its the first book i ever read i would love to see the hobbit movie!!!

it looks great and it's fantastic that they were able to get so many of the original cast members back. shoehorning some characters like Legolas into the movie is annoying though.

I totally agree. The LotR fangirls must be appeased, I suppose... Not that I'm not a fangirl, but I'm not that type of fangirl.

cannot wait to see it. Loved the lotr trilogy, so i hope this lives up to expectations, and isn't a complete dissapointment :/

I seriously have to wait an entire year to see this? Torturous . . . Sigh.

I've read the trilogy and also The Hobbit (though I admit I read the trilogy first). Jackson has done an AMAZING job remaining true to the books, and the cinematography has just been gorgeous.
