Horror Film Franchises; which is your fave?

So obviously I cannot list them all, but I put quite a few up there. If there is one you like that is not listed, just choose "other"

I chose Nightmare on Elm Street.

I totally forgot to put in Final Destination, I must be tired.

It's not that I like every movie from any one of these franchises. I like specific movies from them. For example, I like the original Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead movies, but not the remakes. I also only like the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Had you remembered Final Destination I would've chosen it. As it is, I chose Childs Play, although it was difficult to choose between that, or Nightmare

I really love Stephen King movies. For some reason those horror movies I can relate to something I've done or somewhere I've gone (or at least several of them I can). When scary things violate my personal space bubble then I get really freaked out!

I voted Night of the Living Dead. I remember the first time I saw that, really scary, even if it doesn't have good special effects by today's standards. It was scary at the time! Those slow moving zombies gave me the creeps!

Night of the Living Dead was a good series, esp the remakes. The newest was a steaming pile, IMHO.

The Decent is a good line.

nightmare franchise was pretty good back in the day. Now I just laugh when I am watching one, because it is just so damn cheesy.

I like the Saw because of the different ingenious traps. We even played "Who can name more traps from the Saw" with my friends once.

I remember some movies that I used to watch as a kid, and I'm pretty sure they were the Halloween movies. If I'm right, then I loved them! If not, I loved something else!

Jason is classic! Come on no one voted for Friday the 13th but me?!
I would say anything with zombies is great! But my all time favorite for sure is the evil dead trilogy. Ash is just one of those characters that you just love

I love all the Halloween movies. Nightmare on Elm Street was also one of my favorites. Was one of the first horror movies I ever watched and kept me up all night.
