Read at once without loosing track of plots, characters, and fictional or real environments within the books?
How many books can you....

Three or four. That's usually how many I have going

Two maybe. I usually stick to one because my memory isn't great.

I've yet to hit my limit. Granted, I usually keep my "rotation" to three or four at a time, just because I tend to get waaaay too wrapped up in the actual reading, and will spend every ounce of my time doing it.
No joke, I've been known to fall asleep on the toilet with a book in my hand. Not because I was constipated, or the book was boring. I would "forget" where I was and just read until I passed out.

I think up to 5 as long as the books are not too similar.

yep I have about 3 going, but not all are fiction

Usually 2 to 3

I have issues with reading but usually have 2 or 3 books going at one time

I can have up to five going, but I prefer to focus on one at a time. The juggling multiples came in handy as an English major in college, though.

I usually have 2-3 going at once but that's just because I'm too busy for any more.
