Is TV too graphic these days?

There's no legitimate studies to confirm this. Some people are DE-sensitized to things others aren't because reality and fabrication are rather well defined and it would take mental disorders or a leniency toward schizophrenia to mar that boundary. The only close study done was the BoBo Doll and that showed that children in particular are more likely to mimic their peers in actions than what they see on television.

There's plenty of articles on it but only one real study that I've heard of conducted to gather evidence to support it.

No, I think it's just fine. I think some people just like to bitch to much. I think if you don't like whats on then change the channel!

I think they have the warnings for a reason but at the same time some of the stuff they allow on tv warnings or not surprises me

The warnings are there for a reason, but I have to say I find today's restrictions on language to be too strict.
