Is There Too Much, Not Enough or Just the Perfect Amount of Skin Exposure on USA Commercial (network) Public TV?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
I just returned from a business trip to Europe, where in many countries, full frontal nudity is "normal and accepted" on TV. For instance, there is no "pulling up the sheets" in bedroom scenes in their "soaps".

However, work mates who live in these countries point out that while their kids do more smoking and drinking then in the USA (on average), they have LESS sex, and LESS pre-teen and teen pregnancy!!! No noticeable negative effect from this early "body exposure".

So...what do you think about the amount of body exposure on US network TV?

The amout of skin shown on USA TV is fine as is.

I think we are too open about this, and need less skin shown.
I think we need to allow far more skin to be shown on regular TV.

I don't believe in prudishness. Bodies are natural things and everyone has one. There's no need to be afraid of anyone seeing them.

I'm neutral about the amount of skin shown on tv. If they started showing more or less of it, it wouldn't bother me. However, I would like to see less violence on tv.

I don't even know - so much of what's on TV is worthless, I rarely bother.

Eh, I'd say it'd be fine to have more skin on tv, not like it's likely to cause more sexuality.

the more we are exposed to something the more likely we are to be desensitized to it.

Also, most of my shows I watch are HBO, Starz, etc. So there's already plenty shown. lol. The shows that aren't on there have no need for nudity so there's no need for "more" to be shown. It just all depends on the show really.
