I liked Inception, didn't see Toy Story 3, and I think The Social Network was overrated.

I agree that The Social Network is overrated. Since my Oscar picks don't tend to win, I bet that movie will rack up the awards.

I'm rooting for True Grit and The Fighter, although I'd like to see Darren Aronofsky win for best director.

I didn't watch as many movies this pass year so I can't make any picks. I only saw five of the films nominated for Best Picture.

However, I think the nominations for Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing are great. And, of course, Best Editing is a close call.

Only saw three of the ten (True Grit, Winter's Bone, and Inception). Liked True Grit best of those, but I think The King's Speech will be the big winner. Just can't get excited about most of those films. Besides, my favorite movie this year wasn't even nominated: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Well, Inception won the awards I thought it deserved. I'm surprised by the new phrase Oscar-winner Trent Reznor.
