I like it actually. Me and my buddies watch it when we're at school as a bonding thing sort of. Since we are home or break we won't miss any episodes together

It's something that started after the writer's strike in '07. If they can split the season and have mid-season finales, if there's another strike, things will fit the story better and the whole season won't be for naught.
