If a guy is truely a man of any sort he wouldn't lay hands on her period. Unless they were into that sort of thing. Even then there's a limit, but if she wants to go back to him, it's her decission not the media, her friends or family, nobody's but hers. My man slaps me around every time we get together, nothing gets me wetter quicker that a fat lip while he's choking me.

Who and who? I vaugely recognise the name Rihanna, so I'm guessing famous, in which case some links or explanation would be really helpful for the unfortunets that have trouble remembering the names of people they actually know, let alone the randomly famous.
(like this gal )

To tell the truth I always found it funny why in the world folks are interested about friggin celebrities and their lives...

They are just people too, the fact that they are in the mainstream media doesn't mean that they are more special than any of us, so why to be obsessed with the whole thing??? I still don't dig why people are crazy about such things, also, why the brainwashing mainstream media tries to stuff your head with such bullshit while you could pursue much more "enriching" things...

(Ok, I do have my thoughts on it, but it goes up to the levels of the powers that be, the controlling of the sheep the government does, and how the emptyheaded folks give in... ^^)

She's a disgrace to all women who suffered for taking him back and he's a disgrace to the human race and any civilized or humane creature. Disgusting.

Women take back the men they "love" constantly. They don't see past the abuse, and feel that "he is the only one that loves me / understands me."

I was in an abusive marriage for 5 years before divorcing him. I was young and stupid, got married too young and figured he was the only guy that wanted me. I gave him most anything he wanted, including doing things for him I have never told anyone about, not even my current husband. I thought it was normal for your husband to treat you like crap, to have you have sex with his friends and call you stupid.

Now, thankfully, I don't put up with guys like him. I'm not sure how my husband would feel about me if he knew how many guys I have really had sex with, but thankfully I didn't get any long term medical effects from it. I just sometimes now think about being shared with other guys by a man who loves me instead of one that treated me like garbage.

I hope Rihanna will see soon that he is not a real men and be done with him once and for all.

Although I don't think she should get back together, it's her life and she can do what she wants.

I don't really care at all. I think no women should try to go back to her abuser, but she might like it. If that is her thing than great for her! I could care less. I am sick of hearing about them both. I could care less about any celebrity.

If Rihanna were my friend or family I would strongly advise against her getting back together with someone who had physically (or emotionally) abused her in the past.

That said, I believe people can change, and hopefully this an example of it.

"maybe hes changed people learn from mistakes:. I voted this way cause i KNEW nobody else would . Rihanna will continue to choose lovers that treat her like S cause that's what she learned from her parents. Same with Chris, he is the abuser in the equation. No doubt he learned this from his father. These two deserve each other. The only unforgivable sin is stupidity.

I don't care based on the fact that they're celebrities, but I do think it's stupid to go back to an abuser. I've never met, come across or even heard a reputable story about one that "changed". And having been abused myself, I understand it's a terribly difficult situation to get out of, but she was OUT. To go back baffles me.

I agree. I read this post because I wanted to know what "bag" meant when talking about a person. But now I figure it just means "bad".

But it's really none of our business.

None of my business but I feel it's only a matter of time before he beats the crap out of her again. You should always learn from past mistakes not make them again.
