Anyone here watching Sparticus on Starz? Do you think it is erotic? Who is your favorite on there?

While it is bloody and violent, the sex scenes are hot! I love Lucy Lawless on here, but I do have to admit that I really liked the original guy who played Sparticus and was very saddened at his death.

I've seen it advertised a lot and it looks interesting. But never have taken the time to watch it

Yub, I saw it on other cable channel. And you are right, it is erotic and violent.

I was very excited, when this first came around, to see a retelling of Spartacus, but I have to say I was a little disappointed in the series. It was as if it was made just to have fight and sex scenes, and the story was tacked on as an afterthought. Still, I've continued to watch it, and it's not that bad. I forget the man's name - it was the previous champion - Batiatus, I think it is. He's my favourite character. He, Spartacus and the Dottore are the only ones with decent characterisation. The rest just sort of blend together.

EDIT: Not Batiatus. Crixus. See, that's how much attention I think it's worth. Can't even get the name of my own favourite character right .

I loved Spartacus, I was so sad when Andy died. I do find the scenes very erotic. My favorite was Sura. I wish they didn't kill her off so soon...or at all. I love Lucy Lawless, but I wasn't to fond of her character. Still, she was good. At first I hated Crixus, but then he became a favorite too.

It was awful when Andy died. The new actor is okay but just not as good. Are you watching this new season?

I LOVE the show! A lot o my friends seemed schocked to know I love it so much, since it's soo bloody and sex filled.

Yeah, I used to not be a fan of anything bloody and violent, but I think True Blood cured me of that.... now that is one erotic show!!!

Men wearing very little clothing.. and sometimes none... in bath rooms, fighting, sweating... good lord. Who the hell cares about the story when they finally have a show out that is hot male dominant and every woman's dream?

The series "God's of the Arena" and "Blood and Sand" were brilliant. There was some good story in there the rest was fantasy land!!! And some really wildly erotic scenes.

The original Spartacus was amazing!!! This new guy to me is just wrong for the part.

I just love Andy Whitfield. I don't think anybody can surpass his acting on that show.

Also, he seemed to have a great personality. Watch the 2010 Comic-Con Spartacus panel.
