The Walking Dead

I had to watch episode 2 on Megaupload or whatever that site is to watch vids. Wasn't too much a fan of the sex scene (I never am in my horror genre) so I skipped that part, but the rest was really good.

My friend said he'll hook me up with links online to watch other epis, or just download them so we can watch them when I come over.

Check out beta.sidereel.com, just search whatever you can think of, they most likely have it, and so far I have never had so much as a pop up from this site.

Here's a great investment, should the zombie apocalypse ever come...

a bottle opener that doubles as a melee weapon! ... more
Awesome.

So far, so good. Frank Darabont is a very talented director and has quite a number of great films under his belt already, so I wasn't concerned with the quality. Also, the production values are quite good. Excellent FX work by Greg Nicotero, as usual. I'm really excited to see where this goes and am already looking forward to the second season.

I just started watching today... it's pretty good. I liked what I saw and will be catching up on what I missed. Guts, gore, and more = A good way to spend time on a Friday night at home.

LOVE IT! For some reason I've always loved just about anything zombie related. I can't wait for the next episode.

What'd you think of it?
Ehhh. I watch it every time! I think it shows people that zombies aren't just "mindless idiots." They were once people and they deserve pity. It teaches people to feel sorry for them, and they should. Zombies aren't just targets.

My wife likes my reasoning, but she finds it too gross, like the part with the horse, sigh...She refuses to watch it. But that's her thing, you know?

Tonight's episode was GREAT!!! I'm glad they brought the two groups together so we weren't flashing back and forth for a realllly long time. I have not read the comic, so all is a surprise to me .

Try reading the comics!

The last issue (78?) is like 15 mins of screen time.

I've read them. That spoils the TV series a little.

I'm gonna have to start watching it from the beginning... Looks really good though, from the previews I've seen.

Last night's episode was awesome!! I felt really bad for the woman who lost her sister. I can't wait to hear more about the guy who had the 'dream' that seemed to be some type of premonition. I really should learn their names...

I also loved how it all worked out with the "Vatos". Those hell hounds he got at the garage sale were priceless!

Other than the obvious, there aren't any other supernatural forces going on in the show (no ESP/premonitions/talki ng to ghosts on the phone).

Issue #89(?) is coming out on Wed and they still haven't identified the cause of the zombies...nice huh?

Haha, way to drag it out...guess that will keep us coming back. If you don't know the cause, it's harder to find the cure! Either way, I'll be tuning in!

Spoilers? Does that mean when this season is over, you won't be tempted to read the comic book?

Nah, I really want to read the comics. I can't believe I haven't yet, actually. Although, I get very loyal to the book versions of things. l

I heard about the comics. I've heard they're more graphic than the show, though. I don't know about actually reading them. But I could probably take it, since I've read every Sandman graphic novel there is.
