i loved the first 2 episodes..... but half way though the third episode, my husband and i totally lost all interest in it.

So I actually ended up watching the third episode by accident and then went back to watch the second episode. I AM HOOKED on this show now. I love it. I'm glad I gave it another chance because the pilot was underwhelming for me.

I'm hoping season 2 is better. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the first season. I think they just deviated too much. The CDC thing seemed unnecessary.

Man, I had to sign on just to comment. I've never read the comics but i LOVE the show. And I hate zombies. Seriously. They did this SO right. The best new show I've seen in, oh, 7 years.

Finding a man alone in a secret bunker reminded me too much of Lost.

Yeah, that was totally a tv show only thing, NOT in the comics. It's still good though. I already pre-ordered the 1st season on Amazon.

When Season 1 ended, we were so bummed to have to wait for soooo long for Season 2 to start. I figured we'd even forget about it by then. But, it's getting closer, and I'm still super excited for it to come back on! I'm going to talk to my man about doing a rewatch right before the new season starts, just to refresh our memories. We love it!!! We both started having zombies dreams while watching it, it was great.

Yeah...completely shocking and out of the blue. My comic shop owner said that several people dropped it from their pull list after seeing that. Personally I found the last two pages of the previous issue to be more offensive...the way it was presented it was so much against what Rick had been like. The start of the issue you are talking about though, tempered it a bit.

I just read the latest...pretty darn good issue, with lots of action and getting some characters back to square.

I love it and am waiting desperately for it to come back. I'm a huge horror and gore fan and this show even makes my skin crawl at how realistic the effects and make up are. It's amazing

If you really want to know more about it, you MUST read the comics. Get the 13 TPB's for about $8-14 each or the big books for more (there are 6 or so). The story line is as thick and juicy as the flesh the zombies bite into.
