A lot of children's programming is highly boring. It seems to jump between painfully boring, cringe-inducing annoyance, or seizure-waiting-to-hap pen flashing colors.

I watched it as a kid and so did hubby. I'm not really sure why I liked it, but he has a fascination with trains.

It's odd, but I remember playing with the toys and the pop up books of the show, as a kid, yet I don't remember actually watching the show itself.

I loved JJ the Jet Plane. I don't understand why, but I did.
My little brother loves Thomas. I don't get why, but he likes it, so we let him watch it. I think it's dumb, but kids love it.

I have no idea! My son loves it too. I hate hearing toot toot Thomas is on his way. I think it is annoying to us because it is repeating and explains everything. They like it because they learn from it. It is really boring! In fact he just took it out of the DVD player! I hate the show but let him watch whatever he wants. I am happy when he wants to watch my Soulfly DVD, at least Max has something interesting to say. Plus I love watching my son head bang! It is so cute.

My boys love Thomas but there are worse shows out there in my opinion so I don't mind it that much. The only thing I did mind was when my oldest wanted to collect all the train characters. Most are $8.88-10 a train GEEZ that was expensive. Of course he outgrew it but now the youngest loves it.
