I would love to see a God of War movie, but I fear that Hollywood would totally #$%^ it up.

I'm still trying to get over the hot mess they made of Prince of Persia. So much potential... wasted...

My partner likes the resident evil game based on the movie... I'm not into games like that though. I'm more of a wii person lol

I hate video game movies. I couldent wait for Resident Evil to come out and all of those were crap. I couldent wait for silent hill to come out and that was crap and I couldent wait for max pain to come out and that was also crap. I mean street fighter and mortal kombat really made a mockery out of the game so I really hope they kind of let this whole making movies out of games things.

As has been proven by horror franchises (like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre which is seeing its 3rd reboot in ten years — 2003, 2006, 2013) Hollywood refuses to let go of ANYTHING they haven't beaten to death.

RPGs should fare a little better in the transition to the big screen since they have extensive world building and popular storylines, but count on the Hollywood script writing process to fix what ain't broke.
