I just saw it this past weekend. I likes it a lots. I got what I wanted: cool robots fighting awesome monsters. Guillermo amazes me again with his stunning visuals. Cool cast and Ron Perlman is still da man. I don't know why this movie got some haters. Well, technically I do know, but who cares? This movie has some silly cliches, predictable developments and Charlie Hunnam (Jax!) may not be the greatest actor, BUT the movie is still off the f@#king chain! Guillermo also added some creative aspects to this movie that separates it from other Kaiju movies; drifting and the idea that they need two pilots is a nice touch.
What do you think of Guillermo Del Toro's recent movie, Pacific Rim?

I haven't seen it and most likely won't. It just doesn't look like something I would watch.

I won't be going

So much disappointment. I expected so much more from it. Plot holes and ridiculous logic just made the whole thing into a huge joke. I guess if you just want a movie with robots and monsters, there you go.

I plan to see it. I've heard it was pretty good.

It was okay, better then some of the transformer movies.

I haven't seen it, but the trailer gives off major Neon Genesis Evangelion vibes.

It was awesome and really enjoyable. I got more than what I expected out of it. It was pretty and had a decent plot.

It was alright. I was really disappointed in the character arcs - there was absolutely no growth and it seemed like just another excuse to watch robots punch things.

I thought it was amazing. I liked that it didn't take itself too seriously, and it poked fun at action movie tropes. The character designs for everyone were great.

Oh man, I loved it! It was super-ridiculous, definitely, but I appreciate that.
