Haha, true! Whenever I watch a scary movie at home and it gets too much for me, that means it's time to pause and get a drink/ go potty/ sing a song.
I'll usually walk away, let my husband continue on with the scary part, then get back on the couch when scenes return to normal.

Most of the time, I pay attention without much trouble. If something's particularly wince-inducing, though, I might look away or occasionally cover my eyes. I think the last time I did this was while watching Case 39. Not a very scary movie, but one scene was extremely similar to a nightmare I had a few years prior wherein bees attempted to make a nest inside my head (apiphobia or not, that was terrifying!).

It depends. Usually I look away for a few seconds, but I can't help myself, and end up staring at the screen waiting for whatever happens.

I tend to block half of my vision with my hand, but I still want to watch so I don't look away. I don't think blocking half my vision really hides anything.

I have no problems with horror movies, either with watching them or with nightmares afterwards.

i'm ADDICTED to the walking dead. reading the comics recently has just made me more anxious. the show is moving SOO much slower than the books. but honestly unless you love comic books i dont highly recommend reading them. they're pretty lame. esp. in comparison with the show.

but god, i'm not even into tv, don't even own one, but walking dead is by far my fave show ever.

I love scary movies and love getting scared though it's hard to find a good movie that will scare me nowadays. With the exception of hte first paranormal activity. Other "scary" movies are just not scary in my opinion.

I watch it with full attention the first time I see it. If I'm watching the movie again and I know that there is a nasty part (usually having to do with eyes, achilles tendons and throat slitting), I will look away.
