Which Green Day album do you prefer and why?

Contributor: El-Jaro El-Jaro
I'm a big Green Day fan from way back (1994). I love how the last two studio albums from Green Day have been concept albums/rock operas. American Idiot is even playing on Broadway.

I would've voted for Dookie or Nimrod.

Yeah Dookie is historic...but not a rock opera/concept album.

I have both on my iPod, but I always end up listening to American Idiot more. 21st has some good tracks, but a lot of them drag to ,e a bit.

Love Dookie. And have honestly never heard anything off of their newest album, I don't think.

21st Century breakdown actually has to grow on you a bit. It's a pretty solid album, but it's hard to come out from American Idiot's shadow.

I really liked Dookie, but haven't been interested in American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown.
