I'd get up and change the channel and then continue looking for the remote. Eventually I might give up and turn the TV off and watch something else.

The TV is connected to one of those digital boxes that only works by remote so if I lost it I pretty much have to get up and find the damn thing, other wise there is no one to turn the box off with out unplugging it.

Probably get up and change the channel or ask my hubby to. I rarely watch TV except for South Park with the hubby, but when I do, I'm usually half asleep so I don't want to get up.
