Our most recent contribution to Sexis was called "Top 10 Signs You're Reading Bad Erotica," but all the items could be applied to any sex scene in a book, whether the book is "adult" or not. So we were trying come up with a list of good books with bad sex scenes -- got any ideas?

This is so out of left field ...
Anne McCaffrey's 'Dragon Drums'. Great story in the Dragonriders of Pern series, but her sex scene couldn't even stir a nympho (I know it's YA, but still). Which is begging people to write porn-fic about her universe, and she is sic'ing her lawyers on anyone even remotely mentioning her fictional world online that isn't a review.
When your sex-scene writing sucks, don't be a bitch about others fleshing it out for you.
