Contributor: LicentiouslyYours LicentiouslyYours
Nina Hartley's giving us a list of her favorite books on sexuality. Which of her's is your favorite and why?

If you have not read any of them yet, which one do you think sounds the most interesting?

I am kind of a bookworm, I have a wishlist on Eden just for books (and videos). I think I've added half a dozen new one's today!

I haven't read any, but I think I'd like to read Nina Hartley's Guide to Total Sex.

I love Tuesdays with Nina!

I never miss watching Tuesdays with Nina....just love her down to earth, tell it like it is but with taste and class style. As far as the books she mentioned this week, guess I have more reading to do since I haven't read all of those but have read a couple.

Hey, fellow book worm here. All I can say is that I love Nina Hartley. I wish I could have had her as a family member.. maybe awesome Auntie NINA? Any book that she recommends is probably going to be worth while for all. She is (and I do hate saying this) the Oprah and Martha of sexual awareness and desire. She knows exactly whats needed, when, and how. I will most definitely read all her favorite books, I'm sure I'll learn something.

I have gotten a few of the books that she's recommended throughout her show...
Exhibitionism for the Shy by Carol Queen
Annie Sprinkle's Spectacular Sex
and The Soul of Sex by Thomas Moore

They have all been super amazing so far. I'm not one that reads books straight all the way through, but have been getting some amazing food for thought from all these books. If I compare them... Annie Sprinkle's book is very approachable and humourous. Carol Queen's will be appreciated by smart cookies who want to explore both their exhibitionistic and voyeuristic sides. The Soul of Sex is a more broad cultural study of sex. It has a lot of inspiring material about how different cultures and times have looked and thought about sex, different deities and archetypes. It offers a glimpse through the long-view of culture and spirituality about how essential sex and sensuality are for us all.

I recommend all three highly.
