Call me weird, but I watch the old Futurama Episodes almost every night before bed. I love old Futurama. I wish the news ones were as good. Its a shame that they canceled Futurama when they did. If they had not, they wouldn't have lost steam and would have been pumping out great episodes. Now it seems like they are trying to get back in the groove. It seemed to me that they tried to pay homage to themselves to much in the new episodes, when they would bring up something old from on of the original 74 eps. It just seemed clanky and not worky

I hope they right the ship though before the series goes down in flames

I have still not seen any of the new Futurama. I do not watch any 'live' TV anymore so. When the DVDs start coming out I will catch up. And as far as Smurfs and Happy Tree Friends go, I love both cartoons!

The Smurfs movie comes out in the summer, in 3-D. I doubt Happy Tree Friends will follow anytime soon although I wouldn't mind a dance remix of its theme song.

I heart Futurama, old and new. I think now that they're strictly on Comedy Central, they've started taking more risks, and that's funnier than some of the old stuff. Plus, being the geek I am, I love looking for the little math/physics/metaphysi cs jokes hidden in the show

I agree.

The only thing I worry about with Comedy Central is the shows ratings. I love Comedy Central, it is my favorite network, but I do not think it can reach the rating the show got on the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network. I hope it does though.

I think that the writers might be in a little bit of a rut, but they can work themselves out of it. I only seen a few new eps and I like them (actually 1, when zap tricked leela into thinking they crashed on a uninhabited planet and earth was destryoed, only got to see little of it though ), excluding the Holiday special (it seemed..forced or weird..or something.)

love the show glad comedy central brought it back was surprised it didn't get picked up by another network sooner they better not cancel it after 1 season

I'm looking forward to new episode, but I'm a little upset that I just bought 'The complete Futurama series' in a plastic Bender head.
It has no extra slots for new episode discs.

I'd be more upset if it actually were complete and new episodes weren't forthcoming. Build Bender's body out of plastic and you can have plenty more storage space.

I didn't even realise this was cancelled, or what have you. Still, even though I missed the last season or so due to bad timing, I'm glad it'll be back!

I finally got a chance to watch some new episodes last night. It was absolutely fantastic to get a chance to see episodes I haven't already seen yet. I'm really sad I won't be able to catch the new episodes as they come out, but I can always catch up online later lol
