And seriously — I think Wicked Wahine Day would be A LOT more popular than Spiced Day. What do you think kids (of all ages) are going to get more excited about: Acceptance? Or refined sugar? I say, bring on the cookies and cake!

A strategy that has helped many a parent cope with hordes of kids at B-day parties: give them sugar & they will crash! Unfortunately, when they hit their teens, nothing will keep them down!

How about a day like Black Friday where there's a ton of crazy discounts for frugal people. But with less people getting trampled to death. Or a drinking holiday like St. Patrick's Day. Or we could combine it and have a day where we all get drunk and go shopping and save a ton of money.
