Is there such a thing as age-appropriate hair?

As long as their job accepts it, I don't see a big problem.

You can do whatever you want, preferably that won't cause you to lose your job, but you don't really want someone to expect one age from behind, then have the double impact when you see their face if they're older.

Why does there have to be an age limit? I would think it would be totally cool if my grandma came over with HOT PINK hair and spiked!

the only reason that anyone should stop dying their hair is if it is overdyed and falling out! any cut! any color! any age! any gender!

My hairstylist says you might be nearing or over 40 but why look it? He's not a fan of the wilder colors but that's mostly because they tend to damage hair. He did tell me what products to buy for my own type of hair so if I wanted to experiment with color I could. My hair is very drab and I am silvering so I do add a bit of red to sort of lift the color. I had blue hair in High School and if I wanted it again I don't care how old I am!

As a woman who plans to keep dying my hair strange colors whenever I can for the rest of my life, I think anyone should be able to do whatever they want with their hair regardless of their age. Yup, I'm gonna be one of those purple haired old ladies one day. Probably withhot pink streaks through it.

I don't think there is such thing as age appropriate hair as much as career appropriate hair.

Do what makes you happy and try alot of different things out. I don't think anyone should go through life regretting not dying their hair purple in their teens or something. Age is less of a factor than people think. As long as it's suited to skintone, you're good.
