I can't help it - I love to buy clothes even though I probably don't wear them as much as I should before I get something new.

I am telling myself that I have to go through my closet and organize it and get rid of some things before I can buy anything new right now - but it is so tempting to just go do some "retail therapy".

I think part of it is that my mom always bought my clothes until I went to college (I didn't know any better) and she would tell me what to wear.

Now that I'm feeling pretty and sexy (mostly since finding EF) - even though I'm a plus size gal - I just love having pretty stuff.

We don't have one anywhere near here. I'm way off in the boonies - 3 miles from Mexico even.

I'm a plus size gal (22/24W) - but I love Cato, Ross Dress for Less and joy of joys - we have a Marshalls coming in soon. I also just started shopping at Torrid after years of saying "they're too sexy for someone like me".

LOL, I don't know most of the stores you mentioned. I do know and love Marshall's though. And BTW, Dress Barn has a whole plus size line with really awesome stuff-- and they always have 20-25% off. You can shop online, often with free shipping. Happy shopping!!

I'm really envious of you guys. Clothes shopping gives me the jitters. I still wear some shirts from freshman year of high school---and I've got a Master's degree now. I feel so self-conscious when it's time to go shopping, and I feel like I look so ugly in clothes---so I just avoid it.

Congratulations, lovely ladies! Be proud that you can love your bodies like that!

PS---I wrote a little about struggling with this on the "which of your partner's fantasies is/was hardest for you to fulfill" thread over here, it's the 13th one down---if any of you have any advice I'd love to hear it! Otherwise, join in the thread for your own challenges!

I don't really buy much in the way of clothes. It is actually pretty rare for me to buy new ones unless it is something special (like I got cold and forgot to bring a sweater with me, haha) but that said I do find that my clothes last years and years and years so even slowly accumulating them and getting some as gifts I still end up with my drawers totally full- one set for warm months and one set in the attic for cold.
