I do not smoke at all and never will. I grew up in a home where both my parents were smokers as well as my older brother so I grew to hate the smell, their coughing, the way their smoke stayed in my hair and clothes. YUCK! I don't even want to kiss someone that smokes, but I've done it.

I don't smoke, and if my lover started smoking, I'd sit his lovely backside down to a long lecture on the dangers of tobacco. That being said, I've found that if I already find someone attractive, smoking really amplifies it. I guess it's because it calls attention to the mouth or something like that. Other than that, I don't really know why I find smoking attractive. It's not something I would do, mostly because I've got a long family history of cancer, not to mention I couldn't afford it.

When I was a teen more than 40% of adult males in the US smoked - yes I'm that old. I'm pleased to say that I took my father's advice (yes he smoked for 40+ years) and avoided the habit. It helped to be an athlete in HS and college. By then the whole world was trying to stop.
Good luck with efforts to stop - its not easy, but definitely worth it.

I have a Joye eGo personal vaporizer (PV) or e-cig. LOVE IT! Been smoke free for two years. Would never go back. Way less expensive and doesn't taste like crap. No nic fits or anything. Plus it satisfies my hand to mouth cravings.
Oh, and if anyone has tried the drugstore ones and hated them, it's because those suck. Message me if you want info on some good brands. The start up cost is higher, but it's worth it in the long run (and cheaper). The quality is way better.

I have never been a smoker..both parents did and I saw what it did to them..Hubby smoked when we got married but quit 25 years ago. He says it is one of the hardest things he ever did and if he picked one up now, he was start back. Good luck if you are trying to quit!

Not, never have and never will, I see it as pointless when I have so many other things to spend money on. But to each their own really, I wont fault someone for smoking unless they use it as a bullshit reason to take an unfair amount of breaks at work. I get a lunch break if I'm lucky, while some smokers sneak out for 4 or more on the clock breaks, its unfair and they need to crack down on them for it.

I'm twenty and I've smoked for about 3 years now? I was up to about a pack a day of non-menthol; very much dislike menthol. I quit smoking cigs completely about a year ago and picked up hookah about 6 - 8 months ago. It's got .5% nicotine and none of the additives that cigarettes have so it's a much healthier (but still not healthy) way of smoking.
For me the action of smoking itself is more addictive than what I'm smoking. I enjoy smoking, blowing out clouds and find when I'm in a creative mood the desire to smoke increases ten-fold.
I tried e-cigs and found them distasteful. They don't taste good and they don't quench that 'smoking' need because it's vapor and not smoke I guess idk. It just didn't do it for me.

I used to smoke ciggs just on my days off.. now I smoke E-ciggs and it seams like im smoking 75% more... they are not as bad as ciggs but they are still not good for you... Im thinking about moving on too just gum

Too many people in my life have smoking related diseases for me to ever smoke, plus I hate the way it smells and I hate kissing someone after they smoke, it's gross!
