I don't like dining alone, I feel awkward!
Are you comfortable eating alone at a restaurant?

I've had to do it a couple times since I travel for work and am alone often.. and it sucks.. got no one to talk to.. and just sitting there quietly eating.. might be better if I had a book or music or something to occupy me. but I prefer to eat with other people.

I don't mind eating alone at all, I actually enjoy it. I've never gone to a movie by myself though.

I'd feel very uncomfortable with that, actually. I've always considered "eating out" to be a social thing and I'm not interested in going by myself.

I go to the movies and eat at restaurants by myself quite a lot. I don't mind, gives me a chance to talk to the staff.

Any time that I'm actually alone feels weird to me! With three kids 6 and under if I'm all alone I start to panic thinking I've forgotten a kid! lol. Going to a movie alone might be a little weird but I would love to go out to eat alone! Just think, no random bathroom trips during dinner!

Going to a restaurant, I usually like to bring a book (or e reader) or some sort of thing to do so I'm not bored. Although, if I'm able to eat outdoors, I just watch people and don't need something to entertain me...People are funny enough!!
