I prefer a shower because I'm not much of a water person and I don't have the patience to sit in a tub for very long. Now if we had a large jacuzzi, big enough for both of us, that would be a different story.

I just love to soak in a tub but as I am 6'4" and the tub is 5' long it is NOT comfy. Like you say if it was a hot tub you could not get me out.
It is nice to take a hot shower now that I have water heater that will supply hot water for more than 10 minutes.

I guess I kinda voted wrong...
I voted shower as that's what I usually do because it's quicker, but I do prefer taking a bath for the relaxation. I love soaking in the tub when I'm sick. It's the only thing that makes me feel better.

Definitely shower, now a bath is nice for relaxation, but to just get clean I prefer a shower.

I prefer a bath. I tend to shower after a workout, or when I am visiting someone else, but otherwise I bathe every day.

For washing, I prefer a shower. For relaxing, it depends on my mood. But if we had a tub (at all) big enough for both of us, we'd probably be in it all the time.

I am a shower girl because its fast and I can also wash my hair at the same time, if I want to.
A bath is luxurious, sexy and so relaxing but the time? Also I don't really want to clean the bath tub...another job.

I'm a bath person because I find it impossible to be stressed out too badly if I have to soak in tub everyday. In one of my old apartments, I actually had only an old claw footed tub and no shower...I had a shower massage attachment so I could stand up and clean up in a hurry if need be, but most days I soaked

I cannot take baths, as I'm too tall. Like Dwtim said, if it was a large Jacuzzi-style tub, you could not make me get out.

sometimes baths are nice but showers are faster and I can let the hot water run over my body and muscles. Plus not sitting in dirty water

I much prefer a bath most times. In fact, I take one every night. I like the "me" time, the relaxation, the feel of the water, the warmth, the sensuality of it all. I like bubbles and oils and salts. I like to sip wine or coffee and read a book and listen to new age hippie dippie nature music and be off in my own, peaceful world for a half hour.
If we're going out or I have to get out of the house quickly, I will shower. If I'm actually dirty from gardening or a long day on the back of the bike, I'll shower. And I often rinse off in the shower after my bath, too, especially if I'm washing my hair - though I have a lot of it and absolutely don't wash it every time I bathe. It takes half the day to dry!
Anyhow... a shower, for me, is for fast times, dirty times or sexy times with the man. Otherwise, it's boring and not peaceful and I really like to make a "moment" out of my cleansing time each day.

I do enjoy baths, however I prefer showers because I feel cleaner when I get out and I dont have to set aside extra time to take one. Baths are for when I really need to relax instead of when I need to get things done, which is when showers are necessary

I prefer shower, but I love those times when I'm able to just take a bubble bath and relax. Sometimes even with a toy. I just have a regular sized bathtub, and I'm not a small girl, so it's not very comfortable. I wish we had a bigger bathtub. I would probably take more baths.

Glad to see there are other tall people with "tub issues"!! I can't get comfy in a regular tub! And even if I try I usually take a quick shower afterward to rinse off. Definitely a 6' tall shower girl!!!

We have a six foot Jacuzzi tub and my tall Man fits into it, with or without me. It's nice when you both fit into the tub together.
We looked at a house we were going to buy years ago, but decided against it, because the bathroom wall over the tub was on an angle and My Man wouldn't fit standing in the shower. (I fit, I'm barely 5 feet tall.) At the time I thought it was a ridiculous reason to not buy a house, but we hadn't been living together for long at the time, and I had no idea how important showers are to My Man.
I prefer baths, unless I'm in a hurry. Often, I'll even fill the tub only a few inches to take a short bath. I just feel cleaner if I soak a little.

Showers all the way. To me, taking a bath is just sitting in your own filth. I once said that to someone who takes baths and she said she rinses off in the shower afterward, and I was like, why not just take a shower then? I would only take a bath for a relaxing time, but only if my body was clean. That makes no sense, right? Hence, I take only showers. heh

I am totally in the bath camp. I showered almost exclusively until I got my first apartment in college. Once I didn't have to deal with roommates and shared facilities I started taking baths again. So relaxing! I occasionally shower if I want to go quickly, but I like taking the time and just enjoying things.

It's much quicker.
I do sometimes take baths. With wine. Also I take my Kindle or the laptop on the toilet playing movies or whatever in there too. I get bored. One of these days I'll drop my Kindle in and then I will cry but I'll be more than happy to have an excuse to upgrade from 2 to 3.
