Bee Pollen for weight loss - your thoughts?

Contributor: Zombirella Zombirella
I was just wondering if anyone here is taking bee pollen or has any thoughts on it for weight loss. It's a big thing around here I guess? I've ordered some, but not sure about the hype, I guess I'll see?

Using bee pollen for weight loss, I've never heard of anyone doing that. But I have heard of many people using the organic bee pollen from a local honey farm to prevent allergies.

for weight loss? No idea. I use it for allergy relief, but I wasn't aware it was good for weight loss.

Never heard of using bee pollen for weight loss. I've heard of using unrefined/raw honey that still has pollen in it to help with allergies, but not for weight loss.

It's interesting for sure. I use locally sourced honey for allergy relief and I'm happy with the results.

Are they capsules of just the pollen?

This is what I've heard about it too, the allergy prevention I mean.

Ok, a quick google reveals that the enzymes people are claiming will help with weight loss will likely be digested by stomach acids and have no effect....but hey, it can't hurt to try, I see no side effects listed.....let me know how it works!

I recommend diet changes and exercise if you're really serious about losing weight.

I am skeptical. Unless you take it as a meal replacement, it's highly unlikely any natural product will cause you to lose weight.

But that's cool if you want to give it a try! I am skeptical but you never know!

I have Herbalife shakes that I'm going to do with it, plus exercise. It has some other natural ingredients mixed in, so it's not 100% entirely bee pollen. It's called ZXT. Two of my close friends are taking it and said that they feel fuller longer and aren't having cravings. But it's only been two days so I can't really say much.

It won't work. Nothing can replace exercise and diet.
