i use it and i love it. i think it makes writing more personal. I will make sure my daughters know how to do cursive when they are older. my oldest is just learning to write words regularly lol.

My penmanship is poor at best. So I use a mixture of print and graffiti(carried over from my Palm days). Believe it or not I've gotten plenty of compliments on how it looks.

I can write in it - I had penmanship lessons at some point - but I prefer not to. I've had people who I've written letters request that I write in it, though, because apparently my cursive is a lot nicer than my print.

I still do some paper charting and I always write cursive. My boys 21 and 16 don't at all. This is an interesting post!

My writing is a mixture between cursive and normal writing. Some letters I like the way they flow better in cursive...

It had a purpose, but now typing is a much more useful skill than speed writing. Short hand would be a better choice to teach in schools instead of cursive.

Except for signing my name I don't use cursive anymore. And I hate trying to read it.

I use cursive whenever I'm in a hurry because it's faster for me. I think it's beautiful and it's a shame that they aren't teaching it in schools anymore.

My cursive looks more like the script fonts on microsoft word than cursive taught in schools... and I don't have a distinctive cursive - print method of writing it's kind of a mix between but it is more comfortable for me to write cursive - just harder for everyone else to read.

My everyday writing is cursive, with printing reserved for 'official' work stuff, or papers that I'm giving to other people who may have difficulty with my penmanship.
