I think Salsa, Tango, and Rumba are all pretty sexy

I would say tango, salsa, either waltz or rumba. However, I think any partner dance style can be sexy depending on the couple that is performing.

I think Argentine Tango is the sexiest dance. The moves are so provocative especially when the lady brushes her knee and leg on her man's, then passes her leg between the man's while leaning low into him at the same time.

Really hard for me to pick just one, I think Rumba is very sexy because of the movement it just reminds me of sex and intensity as with the Argentine tango. Burlesque because of the tease and belly dancing. I also agree with a previous statement that any dance can be sexy depending on the couples chemistry

so hard to narrow it down to only one!!! but I put hip hop because I undoubtedly get really turned on when someone can pop and lock, ect. pretty much all Latin dancing is super sensual. even ballet is....I mean those men are super strong, lifting girls and flexing as they move (not to mention the tights)

Definitely Tango, way up there. But salsa is a close runner up. My sister dances the salsa, she is amazing, she has a gorgeous curvacious body, and she can move like a sex goddess, lol.

First vote undoubtedly goes for Modern (Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey). It is intoxicating to watch those dancers, moving in ways and to a time that I cannot predict and is difficult to understand. It becomes a study of the body, testing deterity and flexibility, contorting in ways you don't generally see in other dances but is still reflective of so many other cultures, teachers, etc.,. It has the ingredients of classical dances, but the spontaneity makes the dancing new, expressive, and, at least for me, completely overwhelming.
A very close second is Flamenco. I absolutely love that, as an art, the dance portion comes down to the strength and emotion of the dancer. There is a fire in the steps and they tell a story, a powerful and passionate language that doesn't shy away from gritty emotion: pain, longing, anger, lust, love. All without words.
There is nothing hotter than any person's endeavors that inspires awe or contemplation from the audience, regardless of the dance.

It depends on how you're doing it. I've seen some dancing where it was nice looking, and then others while it was the same dance, but looked downright trashy!
I learned a little belly dancing and surprisingly got a little good at it! I love doing it and think it's very sexy for doing for your partner. It's been a while though so I probably wouldn't go trying to appear on dancing with the stars anytime soon! Lol

I'm not sure there is a "sexiest dance" for me. I think that if you can see or even feel the want and need between the partners who are dancing or even between the people if there is a lap dance going on then that is the sexiest thing

I can consider many of these dances sexy, but it really depends on who is doing it, what they are wearing.
Though I consider bellydance to be pretty sexy, most people I have seen don't make it so for me, though I can still enjoy watching.
I have seen certain folk dances look sexy, but I doubt anyone would understand what I see there. It has to do with costume.
I want to take Flamenco. I think it can be very, very sexy.

American Tango is NOT sexy too me; it's way too rigid. Argentine Tango is very close and intimate, as is Bachata (Argentine Tango is sensual, Bachata is dirtier). Belly Dancing reminds me more of stripteases, because it's not usually a couple's thing. And bump and grind has a very nice carnal feel...

I don't think anyone here stated belly dance (a western misnomer as I'm sure you're aware) was the middle east equivalent of stripping. For many of the dances, it will depend on the context and skill of the dancer. As an example, the Tango (the current poll leader) is most unsexy when performed by complete amateurs.
How ME dance is perceived will depend on how it is staged, but I'm not surprised that a great dancer, in a glittery and somewhat revealing costume (the "look" most people are familiar with), showing excellent muscle control and flexibility would be considered sexy by men and women.
