I'm the same way. I wore men's for years, but I don't care for men's scented deo either. I always wear Dove. I HATE the over powering scents and really hate the baby powder scent! YUCK! I always get the Dove Fresh because it's light I hardly ever smell it and it works very well and it's not a scented anything like the others. I hate most all deo scents, but I love the Fresh and there's another Dove kind I usually get, but haven't been able to find it lately. It's the one with the pink I think. Those are very good. Fresh & that other dove kind is what I've used for years and it's all I'll use. Fresh or maybe it's called clean and fresh? Who knows, it's the one with the blue though and I know the word fresh is in there. Lol Anyways, it really just smells like a clean scent, nothing florally or pretty or special. I hate degree. I've always noticed it seems to only mask the sweat smell for most women I know who wear it. I tried it once and didn't like it. I can always smell a strong sweat smell under the girls I know who wear it.

I use my husband's Mitchum unscented solid, it's effective and doesn't have any smell at all.

I always get irritated with deodorant/antiperspira nts because it's so easy to get the residue on clothes (my sis is banned from borrowing clothes because everything she's borrowed has irreparable stains.) This crystal thing sounds intriguing...

I use Dove, I think. I don't have any brand loyalty when it comes to anti-perspirant. My only requirement is an unscented product. I don't like the scents on most deodorants, and by the end of the day, I find they smell of "whatever scent" mingled with BO. Gross!

I like Dove deodorants. At the moment it's either nectarine and white ginger spray or creamy stick. I get bored with deodorant scents quickly so I change them all the time.

I do like Garnia Mineral deodorant too.

I use a "woman's" ; antiperspirant.

I prefer the scent to mens products. I tried several of those "natural" crystal deodorants, they did nothing, were hard to apply and I sweated like a horse and smelled. Pretty, huh?

When my youngest daughter started going through precocious puberty at 9, I bought her some of those crystal stones, as she was not only sweating a LOT, but had some body odor problems, even while showering twice a day. They did nothing for her, and we found using Clinical Type antiperspirant/deodora nts were best for her. I like them, also. Your entire body perspires, but underarms produce a lot of sweat and it attracts bacteria, which smells bad for most people. Reducing the amount of sweat on less than 1% of your body's overall surface isn't harmful.

I have to switch products every now and then because if I use the same one for a long time, it seems to stop working for me. Women's deodorants/antiperspir ants work for a few weeks, then I switch to a men's, then back and forth. I did recently get a deodorant stone and I love it. I still use my husband's deodorant when I know it's gonna be super hot out, but for the most part, I use that deodorant stone. It cuts down on sweating, but if you sweat at all, you'll still smell like you've been sweating. So I use perfume for what it was initially created for, covering smells sometimes lol.

I always find SOME "unscented" brand...for men or woman. Same formula. No magic there. Same as shave cream, or pain reliever. All ad hype. Same chemistry.

As a man, I prefer men's deodorants. Women's deodorants smell off, too strong.

I hear that your body can build up a tolerance to certain chemicals over time, and sometimes switching brands temporarily can fix the problem of a deodorant becoming less effective over time.

I either use the crystal or the roll-on, scented versions of the crystal. The plain crystal is great unless you have to take a brisk, sweaty, uphill walk followed by immediately sitting down in a cramped room with other humans. You might smell vaguely of sweat (not BO) for a minute while the crystal works its magic. I find the scented kinds help with that a bit, but you could probably get the same effect by scenting your body with perfume or something. I still have a few containers of antiperspirants around, and occasionally I will use them on a night when I really don't want to sweat, but I always feel like my armpits reek of artificial fragrance. It's incredibly distracting. Not to mention the deodorant marks on your clothes! I definitely don't miss those. My skin is also really sensitive to the chemicals and I get rashes from the non-natural brands sometimes. My boyfriend's skin starts to peel off sometimes from all the chemicals in his regular deodorant. ick.

oh! I've heard a lot of people who don't think the crystal works, but really it seems like they might be using it wrong. I've found that it has to be wet but not dripping, and applying it to an already-sticky armpit doesn't work. If I'm sweating a lot, I swipe my armpits with a cotton ball and witch hazel before reapplying the stone, and it works like a charm. If you've been using antiperspirants your entire life, it will seem like you're sweating a ton, but people are supposed to sweat, and the sweat isn't smelly as long as you keep your armpits clean and use a deodorant of some sort.

Aside from that, staying hydrated (with water, not soda) and keeping a healthy diet does wonders for making your BO less smelly.

I use a few different ones. Women's Ban Shower Fresh. I also use Secret deodorant, in Diva la Daisy and Va Va Vanilla. I hate the baby powder smell. My favorite is the gel kind. Doesn't get all over my clothes!

I use deodorant, but not antipersperant. Antipersperants clog my pores to the point of infection. I switched to deo and the problem went away.

i have hyperhydrosis (overactive sweat glands) that started at age 7 in my feet, then spread to hands at age 10, underarms at age 12 and continued to face, inner thighs, etc. it sucks.

i used Dove original scent as a teen and switched in my hippy days to tea tree oil, then tea tree lotion mixed with eucalyptus.

i tried bergamot oil that was NOT dilluted and burned my skin, then stopped using deodorant or shaving altogether for over a year. when i came back to the states i started using the tea tree again, and my BF hated the smell (which i thought... what a shame, because i love it.) i started using the Thai salt crystal which works fine. it's literally just a block of salt that you wet and run over your sweaty areas. it takes some days to build up its power but then it works as an antiperspirant.

i dont use it very often though. i dont mind my armpit smell. and i love the way my boyfriends' smell when he's not been wearing deodorant.

I have horrible luck with deodorants and antiperspirants. Many brands cause me to itch under my arms horribly. I tried some of those natural deodorants, and it didn't work. I was so stinky and sweaty by the end of the day. I don't know what's worse: stinking or itching!

I would like to use something natural, but I sweat too much. I use Dove unscented because it seems to have the least chemicals of any conventional antiperspirant that I've seen.
