Besides granola bars and crackers, I only really had one hot meal today, and that was instant Yakisoba. Pretty darn tasty, despite the lack of nutrition. I want fruit * sobs *

Last night at practice, someone had brought a small trash bag of vegan muffins over and left it on the counter at the warehouse. (Most likely the one dudes girlfriend who works at a coffee place). So since I was really hungry I ate two of them. They were not bad, but they were very strange. They were chocolate chip. I feel like the chocolate was better and more moist than in most muffins, but the muffin itself was very plain, very dry, and just weird. But hey, I ate two of them. Free food is always a plus!

It's going to have... a cherry and fudge and caramel and pecans! That is most of the food groups, right?

Tonight we had "Egyptian" food. It was all supposed to be food that was eaten in ancient Egypt. My daughter remarked on the bag of Doritos there It was pretty good - lots of figs, dates, and chicken.

Tonight is my Sweetheart's Birthday! So, in commemoration, I'll be making Chinese for dinner! Rice, veggies, Pot stickers, and orange "chicken" to be exact! Orange chicken was our favorite Chinese dish before we went Vegetarian. Technically we're Pescetarian now (meaning we eat fish), but we still stay away from all other meats. SO it will be a meatless chicken substitute! Tastes just as good as the real thing, without any of the growth hormones! Yum.

Tonight's my mother's birthday, too!

That means we're having coconut shrimp, steamed broccoli, and coconut-lemon cake (I made the cake from scratch ... I don't want to see coconut ever again).

Haha, I hate coconut.. I've hated coconut ever since I ate some off the top of gingerbread house we made one Christmas. My sweetheart loves it. I'll never understand why.. but then again I love mint chocolate and he hates that so *Shrugs*.

Tonight's dinner was pretty blah, even for dorm food, but last night JR and I breaded and fried chicken and made curry-flavored gravy and peas to go with it on top of jasmine rice. Yum, yum! * sigh * I'm hungry again.

Yeah, I missed another good one! I was at my studio/warehouse, which was like 120 degrees eating raman noodles.

Hi Kevin, it's Dr Grace from sensualmentality.com Nice to see you here
Kevin if you are into healthy living, I would really suggest you find a farm that you can drive to 2 or 3 times a month and get your meat and eggs from them. Small farmers love their animals and they treat and feed them only natural organic things they were meant to eat.

I am a health freak myself and I drive to a farm 4 times a month. The difference in flavor in anything I make is unbelievable. Everything tastes so clean, it's like eating health with every bite

It may not be convenient, but it's definitely worth it
Hugs sweetheart. Thanks again so much for your help. I will be forever grateful.
