I'm super sensitive to sound, too! Little things that other people don't seem to notice drive me nuts!

OMG, this is exactly why I live alone! Having my stuff moved almost literally drives me nuts! I think it's a leftover post-traumatic stress thing from having my apartment broken into and my stuff stolen twice, if something isn't where it should be my brain freaks out!

People rolling their eyes when I talk to them, people who cannot fathom the concept of CLOSING THEIR MOUTHS when eating, people "borrowing" stuff without my permission, people with no respect for their surroundings who blast music at inhumane hours, and people who are mean to my pets. NEVER. EVER. ugh. D:<

Also cannot handle people with some kind of proper hygiene. Wash your hands. Brush your teeth. Thank you. Ugh.

Like many others here, I'm extremely sensitive to sound. Hate people making smacking sound when they chew with their mouth open, and to make it worse, talking at the same time!

I also get really annoyed with people shaking their legs incessantly, although I know some people suffer from RLS and can't blame them for that.

...on that list? I can't stand it when people are mean to our pets and I hate it when people borrow my things without asking or even letting me know.
Aside from that though I hate people interrupting me when I'm in the middle of something.

All of those things pretty much drive me up the wall, yeah, especially the smacking lips while eating.

I'm a horrible interrupter. I realize I do it, and I try to catch myself when I do it, and bring the conversation back around or drop my thought instantly. It's like the little trigger that says, "Wait til they're done" doesn't kick in until just after I've interrupted. I always feel like an ass and spend 1/2 a conversation saying, "Sorry, you were saying..."

All of those things bug the crap outta me, but I have to say the one that would piss me off the most is someone being mean to my pet while visiting. That just makes me want to bash their face in! After that, stealing/"borrowing" something of mine without asking or using up or taking the last of something that I paid for without telling me/asking piss me off more than all the rest. You don't mess with my pets and you don't mess/take/steal my stuff.

Another one that someone else's made me thing of is when you give someone a compliment whether "you're pretty" or "that's a cute purse" and they don't say anything. I don't know, I was just raised to say thank you or some type of reply when someone gives you a compliment. It makes me want to slap them in the face when they don't. It makes them come off as arrogant when it's a compliment on their looks and they don't reply.

Oh, another one. When I let you out in traffic and you don't wave a thank you. GRRRRRRR. Would it freakin' kill you to lift up your hand for 2 seconds? Unlikely.

All of the above and more!

-(I'm a food server) Customers who hand me cash and don't say "keep the change", then look at me like I have two heads when I bring their $2 back. It's one thing to forget to tell me, but don't treat me like an idiot for handing you your change!

-People who tip 10% and less when they get stellar service.

-People who make noises with their mouth when they eat (i.e. my husband and dad.) *shudders*

-Inconsiderate smokers. I don't care what you choose to do to your lungs and body, but please at least don't blow your smoke in MY direction.

-I say "please" and "thank you" 99% of the time. I find it MORE rude to correct a grown woman who may forget 1% of the time during dinner rush, than my actually not saying it. I am referring to a certain loud mouth co-worker.

-On a similar note, being told not to call my husband "honey" or "sweetie" at the restaurant is annoying. It's my parents' business, after all. And even if it weren't am I hurting anyone by calling him that? It's not like I'm having sex with him in the kitchen. People need to MTOB (mind their own business.)

It actually annoys me when I am driving and my man (in the passenger seat) waves. I ALWAYS wave and people to thank them. I am big on waving a thank you while driving.. I'm always like honey, my arm works just fine, I don't need you to do that.

Not really during conversation, though that annoys me a little if I've been trying to say the same sentence for more than ten minutes, I don't like being interrupted while I'm doing something like reading or a craft project.
Seems to happen often to me though, I'll be stringing beads on an earring or gluing the next bit of a papercraft and suddenly I'm being called out to the kitchen.
As long as you don't mean to interrupt and you do apologize when it's needed you're most certainly not an 'ass'. =^.^=

Oh, I do the same thing. I TRY not to. It drives me nuts. But, I do it, too. I have one friend who takes forever to get to the point, and says the same thing 8 different ways and I know I interrupt her, but even other people have said, "I didn't think she'd ever stop talking!"

Yeah, how hard is it to wave? Too much effort? Or did I owe the idiot a way in?

I often pay for the person behind me when I'm on the tollway. It's just something I do, and you usually never see the person again, for that I don't expect them to thank me. But, once, I paid for the dude behind me, and he came roaring from behind, swerved in front of me and caused me to miss my exit and revved his engine and sped away. What an asshole. I still keep doing it, though. (I wanted to yell, "I paid your toll, shithead! Is that how you thank people?" but I didn't.)

Holy cow I hate it when my own family won't replace the damn toilet roll! I also hate it when wet towels are left on the floor to mold...is it too much to ask that you hang the damn thing up?

And then they don't even say what you're actually going to say! AAAACK!

I have a friend/acquaintance, and he has this thing where he starts saying the same thing you're saying about 1/2 a second later and tries to finish your sentence. I want to get him a ball gag and make him wear it until I'm done.... I think it would send the wrong message though.

Mr does this incessantly. Hi, I'm not perfect and will leave my clothes on the bathroom floor, but I DO NOT put my wet towel on top of them... then everything stinks and I end up washing something that didn't need it.

i think out of all those, the top one would be someone being mean to my pets. i would never tolerate that. i'd probably end up roundhouse kicking the person to the face.

being mean to animals is NEVER okay, period, let alone my babies. i'd smack a bitch.

Thievery is my biggest pet peeve. Thieves don't just stealing, they lie, too and that makes them just all the more worse!

Taking the last of something without asking first "Does anyone want this?" Especially if there is a LOT of people in the same place is rude and inconsiderate.

Eye rolling is disrespectful.

If they aren't paying for it they better be considerate and use it sparingly, if not at all.

Even if when they get there your house is a mess, they shouldn't contribute to it. They should have the common courteous to pick up after themselves.

If someone is a guest they should be respectful and quiet when the host(ess) is asleep.

Borrowing without asking is just temporarily stealing!

Pet abuse will be one of the few things that will get you kicked out of my house without an invite back, I don't care who you are.

Eating with mouth open? Just ew! Not even going there!

Wow, you hit all of mine right on the head! Especially the trashing your house when visiting. My husband has a friend that every time he comes over he leaves my house a wreck. I could kill him! The friend, not my husband.

One that you didn't list of mine is helping yourself to my food. I bought it, it is in my house, ask before you just eat. Nasty pigs.

Ew, and people who use the word moist. I hate that word.
