Do you call your spouse master or?

People do not use that term simply because it is some loving name. It is, but it's more than simply "calling a spouse Master." The terminology is very BDSM-oriented, it implies a Dominant/submissive relationship between partners.

Also, people's spouses can be women or outside of the binary.
