Recently, a close family member had a medical emergency and I've been keeping my phone with me all the time for fear of missing an important call from the hospital. This got me thinking what everyone else usually does.

I have my phone on me at all times it's usually on silent (especially when at work, with my family, or in school) but for the most part I am reachable 24 hrs a day.

I carry my cell phone a lot more than I used to. During the school year, I carry mine all the time, because one of my kids might need me when in school. I always have it when I leave the house. I will bring it around the house with me, but it stays in my purse during the day when I'm not working. If I'm expecting a call, I do carry it with me.
