Do you consider yourself fashionable?
But, I design the majority of my own clothes and have them tailored made. I design them for my own purpose and my own body not for fashion. Unfortunately, I seem to be a year ahead of the running when I make a new item.
I don't really care what I look like as long as I look decent when I go out.
I definitely spend more on clothes than on food. I don't get the really expensive designer items, I tend to go for the younger, sister brands of big designer. I mostly shop brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs, Love Moschino, See by Chloe, Red Valentino, Nanette Lapore and Betsey Johnson (sad they are closing their stores). I also love Hudson jeans. Those brands makes up majority of my wardrobe.
I try to always get them on sale whenever I can
I spent a lot of years not really taking care of myself. After the kids were born, I kind of stopped wearing make up, and wearing sweats MUCH too often. I realized that I was still a pretty nice looking woman, and that I wasn't getting any younger. So, I got myself together some years ago. Oddly, my sex drive actually got stronger, the better I took care of my appearance.
I LIKE being looked at by men. So, I try to take care of myself. I don't go overboard, but I don't leave the house in sweats or without make up. I only own one pair of gym shoes and those are cute pink high top Chucks. I try to dress nicely and look fairly good.
I'm kind of vain. I wasn't when I was younger. I took looking good for granted. But, when you realize you can still look good, but have to put some effort into it, things change and you don't take it for granted.
