We have a gardener who usually handles our yard and tend the bushes. Lately, I've been taking over on the weeding. I'm also the one who gets out there and trims our trees and palm trees. I was wondering how many people garden and/or do their own tree trimming.

I used to garden and liked it, but sadly there's no gardening opportunity in my current building. Tree trimming is something I would hire someone for.

I do not have a way to get up into the trees to trim them properly so I stop at anything above where I can reach. Professionals can do the rest.

I love gardening & trim the smaller trees, but the huge trees, need specialized equipment & safety measures I just don't have.

I've never trimmed a tree. It seems difficult, and I'll probably leave that to the pros. I wish I had space to garden though.

i garden quite often actually! anything from potted plants to trees as well as flowing plants and an herb garden (soon to be veggie garden i hope). I will do minimal trimming of trees and overgrown plants when i notice things getting out of hand and if i owned a power saw i would be able to get much more done around the yard, but fore now i will leave that to the professionals.

I love gardening and definitely do plenty of that, bush trimming and small tree trimming, sure. I actually find trimming/pruning kind of fun. Get out some shears and go to town! Bigger trees, higher branches? I leave that to the professionals.

I love to garden, but the only tree limbs I need to trim are over power lines. And I'm getting nowhere near that.

I live in an apartment. So no gardens for me. But I have at my parents house. Also have one at work. So I do get my hands dirty with soil!!!
