Do you get a SUNDAY NEWSPAPER?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
They say newspapers are a dying breed. We still get the WEEKEND papers, for the coupons. Don't even look at the paper!!! Anyone else still get a real, paper, newspaper on Sunday? Do you clip coupons? Do you READ the actual paper? Do you use it for a TV guide??? (our "guide" is on screen,so we don't need that from a paper either).

What about YOU?

I've been thinking about it. I can't go out and buy one and the coupons would be nice. still, that price scares me off.

My parents and in-laws both get it so I'm able to get what I want out of it. The coupons and sale papers for me and comics for the kids.

I haven't received a newspaper in a decade. There's no point when you can just look up the articles you're interested in online.

We have our paper delivered daily. I read the local/health/food sections, and clip coupons. My husband always read the main/business/sport pages.

I don't even remember the last time I bought a newspaper. I get most news from either the morning news, NPR, or online.

My parents still get the weekend paper, so I'll read it if I'm visiting them. I buy it occasionally when I know there are good coupons, but I don't subscribe because I don't want to create that extra waste (recycling it still requires energy).

I get a free local Sunday paper delivered although I never subscribed to it. It has coupons so I haven't stopped it. I subscribe to the online edition of a major newspaper and read it every morning.

We don't get the paper anymore. We used to but now we get it from the internet and news channels.

I scan the newspaper daily - yea I'm old I know. I've seen most of the news on the internet from the night before - but I still do the puzzles and I don't care to do them on the computer.

How much are they?

I still get a printed newspaper on Sunday. I read it. I don't use it for a TV guide, and I don't cut out the coupons.

We cancelled our subscription abut 3 years ago. I get the news and ads I need online. I thought I would miss the paper, but it was no big deal.

I never get the paper. If I would, it would be for the coupons, but I can print those online.

I stopped getting the paper about 9 years ago. They were late getting it to me everyday, it would be sitting out in the rain during the winter, and they would always raise my price without letting me know first. I would find out by getting the bill for the month of already delivered papers, that cost me alot more then I had agreed to. I just got tired of dealing with it. I could also get all the information on line for free, without having to deal with all of those problems. Dont get me wrong, I did enjoy the sunday paper; but the headach just was not worth it any longer.
