No, the only time I did that was for Y2K and even then it was only $500.

I always have a few stashes of mad money. One is in my purse. I also have a few in the house. One is in my hurricane box, and the others tend to change depending on the purpose of the cash.

I do. For one of my jobs I get tips on top of my normal pay, so I keep my tips in an envelope in my bookcase. It comes in handy sometimes when my debit card is running low and I don't want to pull from my savings account.

I have some in my safe. Not a lot. maybe 2K or so. Most of my money is invested in different accounts. I do have a emergency fund set aside for any problems that might come up and need to get paid for right away.

Not in our apartment, no. I'd be too afraid of a fire or break-in. At the end of my shift (I'm a server), I organize my tips in my wallet and just make a deposit once or twice a week.

Yes I have a stash - which I recently dipped into for the 1st time in over 20 years. To me it's a necessity.

We have no cash, ever... but on the rare occasion that we might we keep it in a banking envelope ontop of the kitchen cabinets

We do keep a stash of cash hidden at home. You just never know when an emergency may arise.
