It's not my place to judge others; for me, I'm content with the number of shoes I have because they're all utilitarian.

For example, I have a pair of boots because I need steeltoes at work and it's cold in the winter. I have a pair of slippers because I have bad circulation and my feet get cold. I have a pair of everyday shoes, and a pair of formal shoes to wear when I have to wear a suit, and a pair of sandals for the summer.

I had over 100 pair of shoes but I decided to travel full time so now I only have 2. I have my vibram shoes and one pair of heels.
