Unless you are a blood relative that I like/trust, or someone I'm sleeping with, or a very good friend? I don't want you touching me. Seriously. Even the people I'm ok with casual contact sometimes have to deal with me having days where I don't want to be touched at all.

If I'm close with the person then it's always welcome. If we're not close, even if I've known them for a long time, I'm going to find it awkward.

If its my partner,a good friend,a family member I am close with then sure anyone else no thanks. Most of my hugs come from my cousins kids

I'm pretty liberal about who I will let hug me. In fact I've never refused anyone who offered to give me a hug.

I like a bit of distance. I don't mind any touching from my close family or partner, but we really ain't a touchy family. We keep our hands pretty much to ourselves. LOL. I don't mind little touching, but I don't think I'd be completely comfortable with it from just anyone.

I love hugs and will hug almost anyone in my life. Touching is a little more intimate, especially if it lasts more than a second or two, but I love it with certain people. It just depends more on the person. I'm quite tactile when I'm close with someone. Now hand-holding? HATE.

I hug a lot of people. I like hugging friends and family the most. I have hugged strangers that needed it. I say needed it because for some reason people like to tell me their life story or what's going wrong with them. I'll give a hug to someone because I know I've needed them before.

I love being hugged by anyone but mostly by my partner, family or friends. When I was little my dad would always tell me that I needed 8 hugs every day to grow.. and he'd give them to me one after the other. He does the same to my baby sister now too. I don't know where my dad got that from but it was always nice to get those hugs.

I used to hug a lot of my close friends... now its really just my family. And I do not like to be touched by anyone outside of my family.

My kids and husband can hug me, very few friends. Other than that I don't like to be touched by anyone.

I do liked to be hugged and touched by most people but as with everything there are always exceptions to the rule. Those that I'm the slightest bit weary or apprehensive of I don't even want them 3 ft close to me.
